Will these roof bars fit my van?
Each set is made for the van and the sizes shown in the “Fits” panel next to the price. If you’re not sure which size your van is, the van fitting guide gives the length and height of every size. Still not sure? Email [email protected] a photo of your van from the side and one from the rear, and we’ll work out the exact model. A registration number on its own isn’t a reliable guide.
Do I need to drill the roof?
Not on most vans. The bars fix to the mounting points the manufacturer built into the roof. Where a van needs drilling, or has no mounting points on some roof heights, the Fits panel says so before you buy.
My van has a roof spoiler. Will they fit?
Where a set can’t be fitted with a spoiler, the Fits panel says so. If your van has an aftermarket spoiler or other roof equipment, email us before ordering.
How much weight can I carry?
Check two limits and keep under the lower one: the bars’ maximum load, in the specifications, and your van’s maximum roof load, in the vehicle handbook. The roof load includes the weight of the bars themselves. Spread the load across the bars and strap it down; load stops help stop it sliding sideways.
Can I fit them myself?
Yes. Most sets take 20 to 45 minutes; the fitting time for each set is in the specifications. The fitting instructions, linked in the Fits panel, list the tools you’ll need, so you can check before you order. A second pair of hands helps on high-roof vans.
